What is AI?
AI refers to the simulation of human problem solving and intelligence by computers and machines.
The major branches of AI include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Network, NLP( Natural Language Processing ), Robotics.
ML often referenced as AI focuses on computers learning and making predictions based on data sets.
ML is further categorized into Supervised, Unsupervised, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Supervised Learning - pairing a training example with an output label.
- Unsupervised Learning - Training on unclassified data and the model works to identify patterns and predictions from the data.
- Reinforcement Learning - The model learns by interacting in an environment and using penalties and rewards to make decisions.
Use Case
AI is having a huge impact in most companies today with more than 250 million companies worldwide using AI technology.
The AI market is expected to grow by at least 120%.
Meta uses AI in most of its platforms to improve user experiences, content moderation, and advertising algorithms.
Amazon has incorporated AI into most of their products such as their recommendation system on their e-commerce application.
Tesla has also incorporated AI systems into its autonomous vehicles through the collection of different data sets by the various cameras which are then used to make decisions.
Another major use case of Artificial Intelligence is ChatGpt. The release of chatGPT by OpenAI marked a significant turning point in the field of AI.
